Meet The Owner; Jill Bottrell

Jill Bottrell was raised in Blue Mound IL, but moved and graduated from Edwardsville High School. Jill found herself wanting to move to Colorado. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute with her Associated's Degree in Applied Science. She accepted her first job in the vet field at Edwardsville Pet Hospital! Jill loved the practice and the variety of experience that came with it! Growing up the Bottrell's were very close to Kathy Johnson. She and her late husband originally owned, built and operated Shalmar Country Grooming in 1985. After Kathy moved, the business then becoming DeLong Bed & Biscuit. 5 years later, Jill came across the opportunity to buy the building that was so close to home. With over 25 years in the veterinary field, 20 years as a certified vet tech, assisting in a cardio case study for dogs, and helped create and start a physical rehabilitation center: Jill Bottrell decided to bring her background and knowledge back to the area she grew up in! Jill took hold of the reigns in August of 2018. Now Bottrell Bed & Biscuit, Jill can use her diverse Vet Tech experience; and passion for animals to successfully operate her business. Jill and her staff assure the highest quality of care, standards; and love for those furry members of your family.
